This is the only shape from the 60s that I've been building
for more years than the Classic Pintail. I guess you could say
that this particular design is as traditional as you can get. With
three stringers, 50/50 egg rails, moderate rocker, Volan glass,
multiple fin choices and t-band and wood tailblock options, this
last remnant of the golden era is a must for any traditional rider.
I will also be happy to offer the basic shape as a lighter glassed,
single srtringer, if that suits your taste. I'm very proud of the
balanced design my square tail has maintained over the years.
Sadly, I've seen too many shapers over the years take this style
of traditional board and improve or modify it. And you know
what they always say, "If it ain't broke"...
